Broadmoor Meats is a small family operation in Bradford, Illinois. This page explains what we collect, why, and who else sees it. We’ve written it the way we’d want it written for us.
What we collect
When you order: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and what you bought. We need these to get frozen meat to your door.
When you pay: card payments are handled by GoDaddy Payments. Your card number goes to them, not to us — we never see or store it.
When you join the delivery list: your first name, email address, ZIP code, what you’re interested in, and your phone number if you choose to give it.
When you browse: standard web traffic information — pages viewed, rough location, browser and device type — through cookies and the analytics described below.
Advertising and analytics
This site uses the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram advertising). It records when you view a page, join the delivery list, or complete an order, and reports that to Meta so we can measure whether our local ads actually work and show ads to people in our delivery area.
This means Meta receives information about your visit, and may connect it to a Facebook or Instagram account if you have one. You can limit this in your Facebook ad settings or through your browser’s tracking controls.
We do not sell your information to anyone, and we don’t share it with advertisers beyond what’s described here.
If you join the delivery list, we email you when a delivery day opens near you and when a new animal comes in. That’s it – no daily newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link and it works.
Who else sees your information
Only the companies that make the site run: our web host, WooCommerce and WordPress plugins that process orders, GoDaddy Payments for card processing, and Meta for the advertising described above. None of them get your information for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Order records stay as long as we need them for tax and food-safety recordkeeping. Delivery-list entries stay until you ask us to remove them.
Your choices
Email jp@broadmoormeats.com and ask us to show you what we have, correct it, or delete it. We’ll do it — you don’t need to give a reason.
Children
This site sells meat. It isn’t intended for anyone under 18 and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes we’ll update the date at the top.
